The Prince of Wales will represent the United Nations climate conference in Brazil in the coming weeks, according to palace sources.
Prince William and King Charles appeared together on Thursday evening at a event ahead of the climate summit, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belém.
The King and Prince were participating in the museum gathering, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the British authorities.
Climate Leadership Commitment
The King has been a longstanding advocate of protecting nature - and Prince William has inherited the mission, with his own Earthshot awards, which will be hosted in Rio ahead of the COP summit.
